Mr. Rockwell has worked in the MENA/GCC region for more than a quarter century. He is the Founder of the Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Association (SASIA) (http://www.saudi-sia.com) and publisher of the MENA Solar Brief, a monthly email newsletter covering the GCC/MENA region. He was also a founder and past president of the Emirates Solar Industry Association (ESIA). His extensive experience with renewable energy includes market entry strategy, government liaison, proposal development, partnership identification, project management, and solar advisory services. He is the founder and Executive Director of the Solar GCC Alliance (http://www.solargcc.com) and a partner in DarSolar (http://www.darsolar.com or dar.solar), a full-service solar development company based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
From 2006–2011, Rockwell served as acting General Manager of SunEdison MENA LLC, subsidiary of MEMC, an S&P 500 company and global leader in solar project development. Since 2005 he has been involved in developing solar energy projects in the MENA/GCC region, interacting with senior leadership at Mubadala, Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (ADFEC), ADNEC, TAQA, ADWEA, DEWA, Dubai Holding, EZW, Qatar Foundation, Saudi Aramco, KAUST, SEC and K.A. Abdulmohsin Mohammad Al Shoaibi served as the Executive Manager of Solar Arabia Co. Limited (formerly known as BP Solar Arabia Co. Ltd), which specializes in every aspect of Photovoltaic (PV) solar modules, including assembly and development, design, engineering, system sizing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of fully-integrated solar power systems. With more than 25 years of industry experience, his expertise ranges from administration, strategic planning, operations and project management to marketing and business development. In 2013, the Middle East Solar Awards honored him with its first-ever Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr. Shoaibi holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Toledo, USA. Bryan D. Ekus
Bryan Ekus is Co-Founder and Executive Director of SOLARUNITED (formerly IPVEA), a global photovoltaic (PV) platform for information, discussion, exchange of ideas, as well as ways to develop business opportunities and strategic partnerships. Member companies are producing equipment, raw materials, and components that used in the field of solar energy and battery production.

Imtiaz Mahtab is Executive Vice President of Air Liquide Middle East and North Africa Electronics, and executive member of its MENA management team. Since 1996 he has held international senior leadership roles in developing, managing, and restructuring businesses, primarily in the Energy and High Technology sectors. He is also on the advisory board of various Renewable Energy and High Technology startups in the MENA region.
Mr. Mahtab has been actively involved in the development of the Solar sector in the MENA region since 2011, working closely with regulators, investors, OEMs, EPC, Universities, R&D, and others. As an expatriate executive, he has lived and worked in America, Europe, the Asia/Pacific region, and the Middle East.
