Saudi Solar Trade Mission to Spain announced by the Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF) and the Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Association (SASIA)

UNEF-SASIA-logosMADRID, Spain — The Spanish Photovoltaic Union (UNEF), in collaboration with the Saudi Arabia Solar Industry Assiciation (SASIA), will host a Trade Mission to Madrid to identify potential investment and partnering opportunities between Saudi Arabian and Spanish companies.

The Mission, which will include face-to-face meetings as part of the Spanish Solar Forum hosted by UNEF, will encourage Spanish and Saudi stakeholders to share experiences, presenting an excellent opportunity to discuss PV technology, successful strategies, and develop partnerships for joint projects in Saudi Arabia. Delegates will visit Madrid from 17–21 November, 2014.

“We’re very excited to be facilitating face-to-face meetings between Saudi Arabian stakeholders and executives of key Spanish Solar Companies,” says Browning Rockwell, Executive Director for SASIA. “This event will provide amazing opportunities for high-level interaction.”

The Trade Mission will include representatives from SIDF, SEC, Saudi Aramco, K.A.CARE, SWCC, SADF, KACST, KAUST, KSU, KFUPM, MARAFIQ, ECRA as well as senior representatives from Saudi Arabian banks, manufacturing, poultry, dairy, and date industries to gain further insight on the solar industry.
